Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Book EPC Hampshire provides Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessment services for residential properties across Southampton and Hampshire. All assessments are conducted by Hilary Webb, a fully accredited Elmhurst Energy assessor.

2. Booking & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of contact form submission or verbal agreement
• Payment is due on the day of assessment unless otherwise agreed
• Pricing as published on this website applies to properties within the Southampton (SO) postcode area
• Additional travel charges may apply for properties outside the SO postcode area

3. Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a call-out fee.

4. Property Access

You must ensure the assessor has safe and unobstructed access to all areas of the property required for the assessment. This includes loft spaces, boiler rooms, and all habitable rooms. The assessment may be incomplete or inaccurate if access is restricted.

5. EPC Certificate

• EPC certificates are valid for 10 years from the date of issue
• Certificates are lodged on the government's national EPC register
• A digital copy will be provided — paper copies available on request
• The EPC rating reflects the property's energy performance at the time of assessment

6. Limitation of Liability

Book EPC Hampshire shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website or EPC assessment services beyond the fee paid for the assessment.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
